About MedX Services

MedX Services is a complete medicine management company that is dedicated to improving medication adherence and reducing the costs associated with non-adherence to families, insurance companies and hospital systems. MedX Services was formed in January of 2018 in partnership with Catalyst Healthcare and Spencer Health Solutions.

Our goal is to increase the level of care and clinical oversight that is available to patients needing help staying adherent and managing their complicated medication regimen. Additionally, MedX Services will lower the overall cost of healthcare.

Team Bios

Ken Lowden, President

Ken Lowden, originally from Indiana, moved to Mississippi to attend Mississippi State where he studied to be a PGA Golf Professional. He received a BBA in both Marketing, and Banking and Finance. After completing his degrees, Ken spent five years as a PGA golf professional working in an extremely fast-paced industry and fine-tuning his marketing and customer service skills. During this time, he developed a passion for sales and a keen interest in the healthcare industry and spent the next 18 years working for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in various roles, including Senior Field Trainer, Product Manager, and District Sales Manager.

Lowden made the transition into the medical equipment field with ResMed Corp, which is an industry leader in the ventilation and sleep industries. Experiencing massive success within these markets, Lowden transitioned to senior healthcare as an owner of Seniors Helping Seniors. The experience and knowledge he gained in this industry ultimately paved the way for him to create MedX Services to address the overwhelming issue of medicine adherence, and how families can help their loved ones with it. Ken is an avid golfer, loves flying, and traveling with his wife, Shellie, and two children Nolan 12 and Olivia 16.

Dawn Schrader, Director of Clinical Operations

Dawn Schrader RN, BS, MBA, ACM Certification, has over 36 years working in the healthcare industry. Starting as an RN in the Emergency room and Cardiovascular Critical Care, she has used her clinical background to springboard her career into sales and risk consulting for Marsh, 3M and others. Dawn has been a sales specialist for Hill-rom, Abbot Laboratories, Novartis Nutrition and Stuart Drug and Surgical. She has lead several projects creating collaborative Care Coordination taskforces in California, Texas, Caribbean and other US territories.

As project manager she directed the implementation of hospital Electronic Medical records, creating collaborative processes between hospitals and skilled nursing facilities towards better communication and transition of care. She has the skill to create strong positive teams that excel at their given responsibilities. She does public speaking on several topics within the field of healthcare. Dawn attributes her consistent success in healthcare to focusing on outstanding clinical care and follow up leading to solid fiscal performance.
