Team Bios

Ken Lowden, President

Ken Lowden, originally from Indiana, moved to Mississippi to attend Mississippi State where he studied to be a PGA Golf Professional. He received a BBA in both Marketing, and Banking and Finance. After completing his degrees, Ken spent five years as a PGA golf professional working in an extremely fast-paced industry and fine-tuning his marketing and customer service skills. During this time, he developed a passion for sales and a keen interest in the healthcare industry and spent the next 18 years working for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in various roles, including Senior Field Trainer, Product Manager, and District Sales Manager.

Lowden made the transition into the medical equipment field with ResMed Corp, which is an industry leader in the ventilation and sleep industries. Experiencing massive success within these markets, Lowden transitioned to senior healthcare as an owner of Seniors Helping Seniors. The experience and knowledge he gained in this industry ultimately paved the way for him to create MedX Services to address the overwhelming issue of medicine adherence, and how families can help their loved ones with it. Ken is an avid golfer, loves flying, and traveling with his wife, Shellie, and two children Nolan 12 and Olivia 16.

Jill (Turley) Haselman, Chief Business Officer

Jill Haselman is a senior living executive with 19 years of industry experience and a personal passion for improving the aging experience for seniors, their adult children, and operators. In addition to being an industry pioneer, she has lived through the challenging and emotional aging experience with her own mother. The combination of her operations experience and personal journey as an adult daughter forced to navigate options for her mother’s care has brought Jill to Medx Services. “If I had only known this was an option, and I’m an industry insider (!), my mother would still be alive today!”, she states.

Jill is driven and committed to bringing Medx Services to the marketplace and all the adult children forced to face the daunting challenge of caring for their parents with reasonable solutions. Jill joined Medx Services following a robust track record in the senior living space. She is the Founder of Senior Living NOI™, a company focused on operational performance for investors and IL/AL/ALZ communities. The company was formed to fill a gap in the industry’s lack of strong leadership, measurable results, and a razor focus on the front line because they are closest to residents. She developed HireIMPACT, a scientific and senior-living-specific hiring assessment. Prior to launching SLNOI™ in 2009, Jill was SVP of Organizational Development at Benchmark Senior Living, playing a critical role in growing the company from 4 to 44+ communities, maintaining an exemplary reputation for care and business performance aspired by competitors, recapitalizing one of their portfolios in January 2015 for an industry record-breaking price tag. Jill’s industry leadership garnered numerous awards, including the President’s award for Leadership (ALFA/Argentum), the Boston Globe Top Places to Work, YPO Corporate Responsibility award, Healthcare Corporate Achievement award, and several ALFA/Argentum Best of the Best awards, among others. Jill has a PhD (abd) in Organizational Development from Cornell University, a Master of Science in HR Management and Adult Education from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s in marketing from Old Dominion University. She resides in Delray Beach, FL and has three successful adult children, all of whom are Purdue University graduates and senior living executives in Dallas, Chicago and Denver. She enjoys travel, is considered a “real estate junkie”, cherishes family and friend gatherings, and is highly devoted independence for seniors.
